Speak Up Posters

Students at Michigan State pose straightfaced and bare shouldered to symbolize how sexual assault victims often feel vulnerable and exposed especially in a society where victim shaming is very prevalent. These posters are a reminder that we, as a community, have the power to speak up against sexual assault and support awareness, prevention and response.

Ribbon Interactive installation

We posted posters around Michigan State University with Nassar's victims' names on them to show and acknowledge their bravery in coming forward. We covered each name with a ribbon so that individuals could pull the ribbon and reveal one of the victims names, emerging them from the darkness victims often feel after having been sexually assaulted.

We Have The Power

(This video was created by Michigan State University students). Everyone plays an important role in prevention: students, professors, athletes, parents, police, etc. It's our responsibility to Speak Up and to make a difference. We have the power to be more than just bystanders.

If you're not a part of the solution, you're a part of the problem. Join the movement #GoTeal to support sexual assault awareness, prevention and response. Together, we bloom.

It only takes one person to speak up for hundreds to follow. Join our movement #GoTeal to support sexual assault awareness, prevention and response.

GoTeal movement is continuing helping survivors and changing campus culture in MSU by partnering with #NOMORE and local community.
